I stand corrected alcohol production with Industrial hemp is not ten times more than corn.

Please read "Energy Farming In America" by Lynn Osburn then read my article "Legal Farm Theft" below.

legal Farm Theft
by Rev. James E. Smith

The 2002 Farm Bill where more than 9 million acres to the nations conservation reserve, a program that pays landowners to take land out of production.

It's a sad fact that Washington D.C. pay's more attention to Saudi Arabia, and not American Family Farmers that can plant grow and produce industrial hemp into bio-diesel, alcohol, feedstock and other useful products.

9 million acres can produce 2,700,000,000 gallons of hemp oil for diesel engines per year this is a loss of 7,397,260 gallons per day.

In alcohol production one acre of hemp can out produce corn by ten times so that same 9 million acres of industrial hemp equals to 90,000,000 acres of corn so one acre of industrial hemp can make 800 gallons of alcohol so with the same 9 million acres you can also produce 7,200,000,000 gallons of alcohol per year this is also a loss of 19,726,027 gallons per day.

A barrel of crude oil is 42 gallons the United States uses around 20,000,000 barrels a day (840,000,000 gallons) 63% is imported overseas this is 504,000,000 gallons of crude oil.

In 1920 a U.S. barrel of crude oil, containing 42 gallons, yielded 11 gallons of gasoline, 5.3 gallons of kerosine, 20.4 gallons of gas oil and distillates, and 5.3 gallons of heavier distillates. In recent years, by contrast, the yield of crude oil has increased to almost 21 gallons of gasoline, 3 gallons of jet fuel, 9 gallons of gas oil and distillates, and somewhat less than 4 gallons of lubricants and 3 gallons of heavier residues.

With this in mind 24,000,000 gallons of gasoline from imported crude oil is used per day American Family Farmers can easily compete with this on the family farm with a alcohol still on the farm.

I do not understand why our elected officials commit legal larceny year after year toward American Family Farmers and support foreign nations that give terrorist cold hard cash to destroy and kill on American Soil and to kill Americans abroad.

A few months ago I called a radio show called "Agri Talk" and a scientist told me that it would take five years to implement industrial hemp into fuel although I do not remember his name but I say that is a lot of bull manure because I could do this next year if industrial hemp was legal to grow.

One last aspect, in the light of the French oil tanker that was attacked by terrorist all oil tankers are at risk they do not have armed escorts the crew does not have firearms on these vessels because all it takes is one spark to set the vessel on fire or worse even a member of the crew could be a terrorist as an officer using a satellite cell phone to give away the vessels position for a terrorist speedboat to disable or destroy it.

With this in mind, and we are a Nation at war it is possible that all the oil tankers coming to America can be attacked at one time then gasoline and diesel might cost 4 to 5 dollars a gallon or more than likely gas rationing. Do you think it is time for American Family Farmers to grow industrial hemp to help produce America's energy needs?

I will not support legislators that lie hemp is evil that God Almighty made because it is written in God`s Holy book of truth (King James Version).

Genesis

1:11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb
yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his
kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.
1:12 And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed
after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was
in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
